WAVING HANDS

I love this painting. It is a my take on a white peony grown in my garden. This peony flowers later that the coral peonies that I also have, and is just so luscious with all the white folds. I find peonies look very different in the many changing lights of the day. I take photos of them as they open and at several different times of the day. Early morning is aways best, when the light if softer and the lights and darks more pronounced.
